I agree with not skimping on ones training in a sport where not knowing what youre doing can potentially kill you. Personally I think that there should be more taught in the Basic Open Water courses offered since thats all you need to take the plunge into whatever you want to dive into. My instructor after ow insisted that we all jump right into aow which I dont think is right either without any dives under your belt so I waited till I had made 25 dives before moving on with aow. I felt safe having done this whereas the others in my class many of whom just left OW were pretty unsafe underwater and I did not like being buddies with. I think more time should be spent in OW with the equipment that is out there, ie a safty sausage to name just one, to explain vital things that we should be taught from day 1. Perhaps cutters should be discussed also as you should be carrying one in my opinion every time you enter water just in case. Just my .02.

After many attempts at getting into my drysuit Ive come to realize the arms are just to small for me so If anyone is interested Im looking to sell it. Its a whites fusion ltd 2xl/3xl size 12 boots also have size 13/14 boots. Has 'viking rings' and permanent rings with silicone wrist seals(not installed as of yet and brand new), dry gloves. anyone interested shoot me an email or something. thanks
