Rebreathers, A to Z:
Throughout the diving industry the term rebreather is heard more and more. What are they? How do they work? What are the advantages? Join us for a presentation on rebreather history, technology and it's application to the the recreational diver. We'll talk about the origins of rebreathers, and their applications through the years. What makes them tick, and what are the differences between different types and manufactures. For the recreational diver, how do you dive one, and how do they differ from your current gear. Bring lots of questions, and let's talk about rebreathers!
About Dave Oldham:
Dave Oldham is a northeast wreck diver and technical instructor. Growing up at the New Jersey shore, he's always loved the ocean, and enjoys sharing that passion with others. As a technical diver and photographer/videographer, the advantages of rebreathers soon called him over to the silent side. While he dives his CCR to the northeast's famous Andrea Doria, U-who (U-869), Texel and S.S. Carolina, he especially enjoys teaching rebreathers to others.
